LUKEPORT
Compliance

Certified, and willing to show the paperwork.

An unverifiable claim is weaker than a verifiable one. Writing “compliant” in a footer costs nothing and proves nothing, so this page carries the documents themselves, with issue and expiry dates visible.

Documents

Review or download.

Aggregators evaluating us should be keeping these on their own file. That is what they are here for.

NDPA 2023

What the Trust Mark actually certifies.

It speaks to how personal data is handled. In agent banking that data is unusually sensitive, because the whole model runs on identity: a BVN, a date of birth, a photograph, a fingerprint.

It covers

  • The lawful basis on which each category of data is collected
  • Storage, retention periods and deletion routines
  • Internal access controls, and which roles can see what
  • The route a data subject takes to exercise their rights
  • Breach notification procedure and timelines

It does not cover

It is not a banking licence, and it says nothing about whether an organisation is authorised to handle transactions. Ask any network for both, separately. A network that offers one when you asked for the other is telling you something.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do with your data.

These rights apply whether you are a customer served at a counter, an agent who applied through this site, or a visitor who used the help channel.

Access

Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.

Correction

Have inaccurate or incomplete details corrected.

Deletion

Ask for your data to be deleted where we have no lawful basis to keep it.

Restriction

Ask us to limit how your data is used while a dispute is resolved.

Objection

Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

Complaint

Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if we do not resolve it.

How to make a request

Contact us through the contact page stating which right you are exercising. We will confirm receipt and respond within the period the NDPA requires. Requests about a transaction at a specific counter are faster if you include the date, amount and location.
Managed risk

Certification expiry is tracked, not assumed.

A certificate that lapses quietly is worse than no certificate, because it turns a genuine claim into a false one. Renewal is flagged sixty days ahead of expiry, and the expiry date is published on this page instead of kept internally, which makes it visible to you as well as to us.

Do the diligence before the conversation.

Take the documents, check them independently, then come and talk commercials. That is the right order, and we would rather you followed it.
